The Biodiversity and Protected Areas Management (BIOPAMA) Programme is happy to share with you the result of the latest developments to enhance the website www.biopama.org to better respond to users’ information needs.
A new version of the BIOPAMA website is now available in French language and can be accessed at www.biopama.org/fr and enables us to bring the BIOPAMA news and updates closer to our French-speaking audiences in Africa, Caribbean, and the Pacific (ACP) countries, and worldwide.
Since the launch in September 2013, this website has been accessed from almost everywhere on the planet. The constant increase in information presented, associated with the intensification of BIOPAMA activities and through your interaction with the website, has led to other new developments available on the both English and French versions of the website.
Highlights:
• Separate pages on the 2 pillars of the BIOPAMA work on protected areas: the Observatories for Protected Areas and Biodiversity and the Capacity Development programmes. These are accessible directly from the main menu bars and homepages of biopama.org and biopama.org/fr.
• Search function: If you wish to quickly identify information on the website starting from a concept or key word, the Search function is also now available to assist you, on the top right corner of each website page.
• Language choice: you can choose between the languages English or French, to read your latest BIOPAMA updates and news.
We invite you to continue looking for latest updates on www.biopama.org and the new www.biopama.org/fr, and to discover the improvements, tools and applications that are at your disposal.
Note: BIOPAMA is an initiative of the ACP Secretariat funded by the 10th European Development Fund of the European Union.
